Whosoever Will

True happiness can only be found in one way…

1. First of all, you must realize that you are a sinner and in need of help. God’s Word, the Bible, tells us that “There is none righteous, no, not one” and also says that “All have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:10,23. It also tells us in Romans 3:18, speaking of individuals today, that “There is no fear of God before their eyes.” For centuries, people have ignored their Creator in heaven and lived solely to please themselves. Like me! Before I accepted the free gift God offered to me, I lived only to make Danny happy. The Bible warns man that the result of this lifestyle is death. Romans 6:23. No one can escape death. There is no second chance. “It is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgement.” Hebrews 9:27. You must realize this and . . .

Admit that you are a sinner!

2. Secondly, you have to come to the realization that there is only one way of escape. In Matthew 14:6, Jesus says, “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” You have to believe that Jesus died on the cross and rose again for you. It says in John 3:16 that “God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” People commanly believe that if God is a God of love, as it says here, that He will not send you to hell. But this is wrong! Very wrong! Yes, it is true that God is a God of love, but he is also a perfect and Holy God. It says the penalty for sins is death, and so by sinning, we all deserve to die and be judged. What would you think if a judge had a convicted rapist before him and said, “Well, I’m a loving kind of guy and so I’ll let you go free”? Not much, would you. God demands that justice be done but he also wants to provide a way of escape for you, and so He gave his Son, Jesus Christ, to die for your sins — if you’ll only accept the fact that you are guilty and need to be saved from your sins. A man in Act 16:30 asked, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” The answer, so simply was . . .

“Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ”

3. Lastly, you should confess that you have accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as your Saviour to someone. To me, to anyone. “If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” Other believers will be thrilled to hear you . . .

Confess Christ Jesus as Lord

It’s so simple! As simple as A,B,C! Just . . . Admit Believe Confess

If you have any questions, or want to know more about the question of your salvation, please email me. Not only would I be thrilled to hear from you, but it says in the Bible that there is joy in heaven over one sinner that repenteth. I can thankfully say I took the most important decision in my life when I was around eight years old. If you have time and want to read the story of how I was saved, please do.

“Behold, now is the accepted time;
behold, now is the day of salvation.”
