So we’re back home again after two weeks on the road … and what a wintery welcome home. In the last week we’ve had over a foot of snow and I discovered how much I hate shovelling snow. My eyes wander towards snow blowers every time I walk into the Home Depot, but I can’t justify the cost and expense when the Lord has given me health and strength.

Winter also brings an end to skateboarding (I found two incredible parks near our home with free admission), and allowed me to do some riding this past week at the ski hills. Guess what? Not even a sore muscle the next day …

Jake is growing big and strong and weighs almost eleven pounds now. I put up some new pictures, but they don’t really show how large he has grown. Those spindly little legs six weeks ago can be called nothing but pudgy now. It’s cause to smile …
